The Growth Method

Structure from the science. Warmth from play. Calm before either.

Three disciplines, practised together by one person your child knows.

Small steps, measured

We do not teach a child to perform a skill for a reward. We teach a child to own it.

01The three disciplines

Practised together, not booked separately.

Every facilitator is trained in all three. Every session uses all three.

01 · The structure

ABA Informed

The science of how children learn. Clear goals, small steps, progress measured every session.

  • Behaviour is communication
  • A child who says no is heard
02 · The way in

Play Therapy

Play is a child's first language. We teach inside the games your child already loves.

  • Trust first
  • Skills practised through play
03 · The starting point

Calm to Learn Strategies

A child who is not calm cannot learn. So we settle first, then teach.

  • Trained techniques, not luck
  • Used in every session
“Connection before correction.” Relationship first. Children learn when they feel safe and understood.
02What we draw on

One person, trained across the areas your child usually visits separately.

Who we are. Our facilitators are trained specialists, not clinicians. We work alongside your child's therapists, never in place of them.

Speech and communication

Sounds, words, pictures or gestures. Whatever gets your child understood.

Behaviour

What a behaviour is for, and what works better for the child.

Social skills and play

Turn-taking, joining in, and making friends.

Sensory and regulation

A settled body, so the mind can learn.

Reading and numbers

Strong foundations, built in small steps.

Family partnership

Every session ends with something you can try at home.

03The five pillars

What every programme is built on.

The things we never compromise on, whichever child is in front of us.

1

Individualised learning

Every plan is built around one child.

2

Holistic development

The whole child, not just schoolwork.

3

Family partnership

Parents are partners, not bystanders.

4

Playful learning

Play is not a break from learning. It is learning.

5

An ABA foundation

Progress you can measure and repeat.

04Measured, not assumed

What gets measured gets better.

Every goal has a starting point. Every session adds data. You see it in plain language.

A report after every session

Short and plain.

Data on every goal

A plateau is caught early.

A monthly review

We adjust the plan together.

Honest data

A hard session is reported as a hard session.

05Questions parents ask

Straight answers.

Is this ABA?

It is ABA informed. We use the structure and the measurement. We are not an ABA clinic, and our facilitators are not clinicians.

Is it therapy?

No. We provide learning support. We do not diagnose, and we work alongside your child's doctor and therapists.

Will my child be forced to comply?

No. A child who says no, with words or with their body, is heard. The plan changes.

Who is it for?

Children with autism, ADHD, speech delay and learning difficulties, and children still waiting for a diagnosis or a school place.
